Former Pakistan opening batter Salman Butt has lauded Rahul Dravid for his man-management skills. Adding that Dravid is doing a superb job as the coach of the Indian side and is keeping the Indian side together, Butt opined that he enjoyed the way Dravid praised Kohli.

Butt also opined that Dravid is the type of person that a team would want, and praised Dravid for not joining the ‘misunderstanding’ that has happened between Kohli and the BCCI.

“This is called man-management. This is their real work as a coach or as a manager, what Dravid did yesterday. And despite what is going around, he hailed Kohli and backed him to score big as well. I enjoyed that.

He is doing a superb job. So he got his team together. He did not join the discussion involving the chief selector or the chairman on whatever misunderstanding that might have happened. This is the type of person you want around your team,” said Salman Butt while speaking on his YouTube channel.

Kohli has a back spasm, and as a result, KL Rahul is leading the Indian side in Kohli’s absence. After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the Indian scorecard reads 146/5. KL Rahul led from the front and scored a patient 133-ball 50 for India. India currently leads the three-match Test series 1-0.
