England dished out a hammering to the Indian side in the second ODI at Pune to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. Even though Virat Kohli and his men posted a challenging total of 336 runs on the board, the visitors made light work of the target and won the match with 6 wickets to spare.

The duo of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes was involved in a match-winning partnership of 175 runs for the second wicket as England comfortably romped home with as many as 39 balls to spare. While Bairstow scored a classy 124, Ben Stokes went wild and blasted a 52 ball 99 for the England side.

As far as the Indian batsmen are concerned, it was KL Rahul who led the charge with the bat. The right-hander scored a 114 ball 108 and notched up his 5th ODI hundred. Apart from Rahul, Rishabh Pant and skipper Virat Kohli also scored half-centuries as well. Now, with the series level at 1-1, there is everything at stake for both sides in the third and final rubber on 28th March 2021.
