The coronavirus has brought the entire world to a standstill. More than 3 million across the globe have already got affected by COVID-19. The numbers are increasing every day and there hasn’t been any development which seems to be stopping this global pandemic.

In India, already close to 30,000 cases related to Coronavirus have been registered. Unfortunately, close to a thousand people have also lost their lives. Things are getting somewhat difficult to control with the country going through a lockdown. India is under nationwide lockdown until May 3, but that is likely to get extended considering the current situation.

China has been helping India in terms of COVID-19 test kits. However, many of these kits have been reportedly rated faulty. This has made the Indian government refuse the usage of these kits. In the past, other countries have also reported that they received faulty kits from China. And the Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh feels India should boycott them if they are sending faulty kits purposefully.

We are good enough to make our own things, says Harbhajan Singh

He replied to a tweet by a media house which revealed that China is concerned after the Indian government has decided to stop using the COVID-19 Test kits made by them. Bhajji expressed his anger on Twitter questioning if China is purposefully sending wrong kits to other countries. He also said that it is high time India should start boycotting things made in China.

“Are they purposely sending wrong kits to other countries. High time we should boycott them..we are good enough to make our own things..”, Harbhajan tweeted.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh is one of the many cricketers who have been actively taking part in COVID-19 reliefs. He along with his wife Geeta Basra had pledged to provide food for 5,000 underprivileged families in their native of Jalandhar. Harbhajan is among several other Indian players who have made contributions to the relief funds for COVID-19.

Former players like Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly have also done their bit to help India fight against the Coronavirus.
