Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was ‘too hot to handle’ for the England batsmen in the second Test match between Joe Root’s men and Virat Kohli’s men at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Siraj picked up a total of 8 wickets in the match, as the England batsmen were found wanting against the guile and fire that Siraj exhibited with the ball in hand.

Former Indian cricketing legend VVS Laxman has now taken to Twitter to heap praise on the Indian pacer. Laxman tweeted a picture of him meeting Siraj for the first time and added that he is very proud of the progress that the Indian pacer has made in international cricket.

Laxman further tweeted that Siraj’s life is an example of what a person can achieve through sheer willpower and hard work.

“Met him for the first time at frmr Hyderabad great Abdul Azeem’s residence. And I feel so proud to see the rapid progress Siraj has already made in intern’al cricket. His life is another testament of what one can achieve through hard work & will-power. More power to you young man,” tweeted VVS Laxman.
