The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen its fair share of nail-biting finishes. We are just two games away from determining the team that will lift yet another title. The two-month extravaganza is finally coming to a close and fans have mixed feelings as the excitement is going to end soon. They will have to wait for another year to see their teams back in action.
While the Chennai Super Kings have already booked a place in the finals, the Qualifier 2 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad is yet to take place. However, Hotstar released a promo showing the Knight Riders taking on the Super Kings in the final match. This has raised speculations as to whether the IPL 2018 is fixed.
All doubts cleared
The Knight Riders defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 25 runs in the Eliminator to book a place in Qualifier 2. The team is set to face SRH on Friday but the Hotstar video has got Twitter questioning the league’s legitimacy. One of the users shared a video of the promo released by Hotstar which went viral and was flooded with comments that are not good for the game of cricket.

While the fans were questioning the authenticity of the tournament, all doubts were cleared when the CSK vs SRH promo was also shared on Twitter. Since the final takes place just two days after the Qualifier 2, Hotstar has made two promo videos ready. It will release the video after the end of Qualifier 2 between KKR and SRH.

The big final will be played on the 27th of May at the Wankhede. While CSK will have an extended break before the all-important match, either of KKR or SRH will have very little time to prepare for the last game.
