Pakistan had been under a lot of scrutinies for not being able to set up a safe and secure environment for the players on their soil. The matter got fuelled up when the New Zealand team canceled their white-ball series against them at the last minute and the same course of action was followed by ECB. However, there have been some players who have stated that Pakistan is a safe land to play and the new addition is England’s left-arm pacer Tymal Mills.

Mills and many other Englishmen have been part of the Pakistan Super League in the last few years and have even played games on Pakistan soil only. In the same light of events, Mills added that he has been to the nation couple of times and it is a brilliant country to play cricket.

Mills added that he really cannot comment as to why ECB canceled their men’s and women’s tours to Pakistan as it was done on the basis of some advice from authentic sources. However, the pacer added that he really wishes to visit the nation soon in near future.

Hopefully, we will soon go to Pakistan: Tymal Mills

“I have been to Pakistan a couple of times. It’s a brilliant country to play cricket in. The crowd is always great and the cricket is always of the highest standard. I played in the PSL and it’s a tournament that I understand really well. Obviously, I can’t comment too much on England’s cancelation because we relied on the advice we were given, however; hopefully, we will soon go there and I will be really keen to go because I have been there personally and I feel it’s a great place to play cricket. I am sure we will get there in the future,” said Tymal Mills as quoted by Cricwick.

When New Zealand and England canceled their tours to Pakistan, several big names from Pakistan came up to call it a wrong decision and that their nation is now a safe land to play cricket. Kiwis cancelled their tour at the last minute as there was some threat to the players’ safety, as per reports.
