Following in the footsteps of most of his teammates, India youngster Rishabh Pant has also spent the new year with his girlfriend Isha Negi. This was just the second time when Rishabh Pant posted a picture of himself along with his girlfriend on social media platform. He had first announced his relationship with Isha Negi at the start of last year after returning from the historic tour of Australia.

After helping India win their first-ever Test series on Australian soil, he had made his relationship public with Isha. And almost a year after that post, Rishabh Pant took to Instagram once again to post an adorable picture of his girlfriend. It was an adorable picture of the love birds as he captioned it, “I like me better when I’m with you.”

Apart from Pant, the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also made the most of the break and spent time with their better halves. While Kohli flew to Gstaad with wife Anushka Sharma, Rohit spent time with his wife Ritika and daughter Samaira. KL Rahul was also on a vacation to Thailand with his rumored girlfriend Athiya Shetty and friends.

A mixed year for Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant had a 2019 to forget as far as his performance for India is concerned. The youngster started the year on a bang by scoring a stunning century in the Sydney Test and helping India win the historic Test series. However, things did not pan out well after that. After an impressive campaign in the IPL, he was named as the replacement for injured Shikhar Dhawan.

However, the left-handed batsman failed to hit the ground running in the tournament. After the tournament, he was named as the first-choice wicketkeeper in T20Is and ODIs as MS Dhoni took a sabbatical. However, Pant has failed to make the chances count so far.

He did score a T20I fifty in West Indies but has not touched the 50-run mark since then. The Delhi star has also lost his place in the playing XI in the Test team. He will be hoping to start 2020 on a good note when India take on Sri Lanka in the upcoming three-match T20I series.
