Former Indian batsman and an exceptional commentator, Aakash Chopra has recently expressed his extreme pleasure over watching MS Dhoni play for long. Dhoni doesn’t remain part of the regular cricketing action now so watching him in IPL will definitely be a treat for many.

The retired opener keeps expressing his views on various matters related to cricket and is a known figure on YouTube where he makes great analysis too. Recently, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan made a revelation that MSD is likely to play for franchise till 2022. Chopra feels there can’t be a better thing because playing for CSK is the only time we can witness Dhoni’s class as he doesn’t play other tournaments on regular basis.

“If we listen to what the CSK CEO has said, he is saying that MS Dhoni will not be with them only for now but for a long time to come and will also be seen playing. And I am very happy. I am not complaining one bit because you don’t see MS Dhoni play regularly these days, he is seen only for Chennai Super Kings,” expressing his delight, Chopra says.

Aakash Chopra can’t hide his excitement to see Dhoni on field

The commentator said that it will be a great thing to watch Dhoni leading the Yellow Army on field for long. It would be great if the 39-year-old can display his form till the very end. “If he can continue playing for them for years to come, Dhoni never get retired. I will pay double the ticket price to watch you play. So that will be absolutely fantastic.”

Dhoni hasn’t been part of any format of the game after the semi-finals of 2019 WC match against New Zealand. Lately he has been seen practicing quite a lot in his home town Ranchi to gear up for the 13th edition of IPL.
