The 6th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final 2019 will be played between Canada and United States of America (USA) at the White Hill Field in Sandys Parish, Hamilton.
The match starts at 3:30 PM local time (12:00 PM IST) (6:30 PM GMT).
Canada and the United States of America will meet for the first time in this tournament who are considered as the favourites to finish in top two. Canada began with a big win against the Cayman Islands in their first match. Ravinderpal Singh’s century on T20I debut was the highlight from that match. Their 2nd match against Bermuda got washed out in a dramatic scenario.
Chasing a target of 83 from 16 overs, the Canada team raced to 40/0 in only four overs. However, no more play was possible while the minimum five overs were required to determine the result. On the other hand, USA was stunned by Bermuda in the tournament opener. However, USA bounced back with a win against the Cayman Islands on Monday which was their maiden T20I victory.
The weather report doesn’t suggest any threat from the rain during the 2nd match. Interestingly, the weather forecast for Monday was also similar where the rain spoiled both matches on the same day.
The pitch at the White Hill Field in Sandys Parish is expected to play better than how it did during the first day of the tournament. The dominance of the spinners is expected to remain.
