The 16th warm-up match of the ICC Under-19s World Cup 2020 will be played between Australia Under-19s and Canada Under-19s at the St Stithians Main Oval in Johannesburg.
The match starts at 10:00 AM local time (1:30 PM IST) (8:00 AM GMT)
In the last day of warm-up matches, the Australia Under-19s will face the Canada Under-19s. Both the teams were involved in thrillers in their respective warm-up games on Monday. Australia U19s faced Bangladesh in a 43 overs-a-side match that ended in a Tie. Chasing 251 to win, Australia were bowled out for 250 on the last ball of the inning. Canada, on the other hand, posted 271/9 against West Indies but still ended up losing the match. They had West Indies five down for 89 at a stage but failed to capitalize on the chance.
St Stithians Main Oval in Johannesburg is likely to stay clear from rain interruptions on Wednesday.
The St Stithians Main Oval in Johannesburg can be considered a high-scoring venue. UAE chased down 218 against New Zealand here while on Tuesday, Zimbabwe finished on 272 in reply to India’s 295. It seems as if the track here remains the same for most of the match.
Average first innings score: 256 (Warm-up matches in 2020)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 1, Lost – 1

Canada Under-19s showed they are no less team as they nearly defeated West Indies U19s in the first warm-up. Their batting performance and bowling with the new ball were the positives for the Canada team. Hence, we can pick five players at least from their squad despite they will be facing the Australian team.
Australia Under-19s are expected to win a thriller against Canada.
