Preview for Dream11 Fantasy
The ongoing Under-19 World Cup’s next stage begins from Monday with the teams which failed to qualify for the Super League stage fighting it out in the Plate Group. The first Plate Quarter-final will be played between Sri Lanka and Nigeria colts. Sri Lanka lost to India and New Zealand in Group A before defeating Japan Under-19s to set up a game against the Nigerian youngsters.
Nigeria, on the other hand, couldn’t match the quality of the oppositions in Group B as they lost all their three matches against Australia, West Indies and England by big margins. Though Sri Lanka are the outright favourites to win this game, Nigeria will be hoping to at least put up a fight and make the opposition sweat for a victory.
The forecast for this game in Potchefstroom is absolutely clear. There is no chance of rain coming down while the temperature will hover around 27-30 Degrees Celsius during the match according to AccuWeather.
The previous game between Afghanistan U19 and Canada U19 was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the rain. It was the first Youth ODI game at the venue. The venue has hosted a couple of matches in 2018 during U19 CWC Qualifiers. But they were regional teams and low-scoring matches.
Average first innings score: N/A

Navod Paranavithana opens the innings and also tends to pick up wickets with the ball. He hasn’t scored big with the bat so far but has picked up three wickets and against Nigeria, he might score big if Sri Lanka bats first. Their bowlers Sudheera Thilakaratne, Dilshan Madhushanka and Ashian Daniel will be crucial as they are likely to pick more wickets.

If Sri Lanka are batting first, then you can make one of their top four batsmen captain of your Dream11 Fantasy. But with their bowlers expected to dominate against Nigeria, it would be wise to make them at least VC if not both C and VC.
Sri Lanka Under-19s are expected to win this match comfortably.
