In their previous match against India, the Kiwi Women suffered a narrow defeat by three runs against Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. After India Women amassed 133 runs on the board, the New Zealand Women kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

However, crucial middle-order cameos from Maddy Green and Katey Martin and a quick-fire knock from Amelia Kerr raised New Zealand hopes but they were eventually unsuccessful in hunting down the target. The Kiwi women will be aiming to register their second triumph of the tournament.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be aiming to register their first victory of the tournament. After suffering defeats against India and Australia, the Tigresses’ will be hoping to put up a formidable show in their T20 World Cup heist.

The pitch at Junction Oval is expected to offer a fair battle between bat and ball. After registering a narrow three-run triumph in their previous game against New Zealand Women, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. will be aiming to carry their unbeaten run in the mega-event.

Sri Lanka Women, on the other hand, are in the hunt for their first victory of the tournament after registering defeats in their two opening matches. The Islanders suffered a five-wicket defeat in their last match against Australia Women. After amassing 122 runs on the scoreboard, the Sri Lankan bowling force couldn’t curb Australia’s batting force as they reached the target with three balls to spare. Apart from skipper Chamari Atapattu, no other player has been successful to deliver a match-winning performance for Sri Lanka Women.

India Women will be relying on the red-hot form of their batswoman and bowlers. Shafali Verma is in prolific form with the bat and she will be aiming to deliver another prolific knock at the top. Harmanpreet Kaur, who has been struggling to amass runs in the ongoing tournament, will also be hoping to dazzle against Sri Lanka Women. Furthermore, Poonam Yadav and Shikha Pandey have also been in impressive form and have bolstered India’s bowling attack.

Her experience and form will be the impetus in Sri Lanka’s World Cup campaign. Udeshika Prabodhani and Shashikala Siriwardene, who scalped two wickets each against Australia, will be steering Sri Lanka’s bowling force.
