A team that possibly registered one of their biggest wins in the league stages will be up against a side that is labouring hard to get back to the winning ways on a consistent basis. As Pakistan takes on Sri Lanka in the 11th game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, there is no reason why the former shouldn’t consider itself the favourite to win this match. Such has been the plight of Sri Lankan cricket in recent times.

They had to toil hard to register a win against Afghanistan in their last game. While the confidence factor might help, there are still several areas of improvement for Sri Lanka. The most important of all is, of course, doing well with the bat. It will be great to see Sri Lanka put up a good fight and the fans sure wouldn’t want to see a one-sided contest at Bristol.

Here we bring you the Dream11 Fantasy team based on the stats of the players:

While there are three options available in the wicket-keeper’s category, you could possibly go ahead with two of them. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has been doing consistently well and should be the preferred choice. You can also go with Kusal Perera who is likely to continue opening the innings for his team. He scored 191 runs in his last 5 ODI appearances and played well in the last match. Mendis, meanwhile, struggled thus far in the tournament and could be ignored.

No matter how many options you have in this category, Babar Azam will make it through nine out of ten times. He scored 295 runs in the last 5 matches and is worth having in your team even though he takes 10.5 credits. It won’t be a bad choice having him as your skipper. Imam-ul-Haq is the other pick you should consider while it should be Dimuth Karunartne from the Sri Lankan team. Lahiru Thirimanne is this eleven might not be convincing but to maintain the balance of the Dream11 Fantasy team, you’ve got to have him. You can also go ahead with Kusal Mendis instead.

The Professor, Mohammad Hafeez, seems to be in fine form and played a good knock in the last game as well. In the last five ODI appearances, he scored 176 runs and picked up one wicket. Thus, he makes a very good case to be in your Dream11 Fantasy team. Thisara Perera is the other option you can consider from this category. His numbers are slightly better when compared to some of the other players and could be destructive once he gets his eye in.

Nuwan Pradeep, at just 8.5 credits, is a great pick you can have in your team. He accounted for 11 scalps in the last 5 games including a four-wicket haul in the last match. The other two options you can select are Mohammad Amir and Shadab Khan. Both of them have done well of late and are most likely to feature in the playing eleven.
