Shakib is likely to be fit for this match.

Windies and Bangladesh will lock horns on Monday for the fourth time in a month or so. The Tigers defeated them three times including the final in the tri-series in Ireland but the World Cup pressure would be completely different. Moreover, the Caribbean side playing the tournament is different as well and won’t carry any baggage of the recent losses. Also, both the teams are desperate for victory having lost their way after starting the World Cup on a high.
There will be a few changes in the Bangladesh team it seems after the way they were pummelled by England in the previous encounter. Shakib Al Hasan’s fitness is also a concern but the all-rounder must have got enough time to recover. Sabbir Rahman and Rubel Hossain are likely to be included to bolster respective departments. Windies, on the other hand, might play an all-pace attack to rattle the opposition.
The 23rd match of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between Windies and Bangladesh at The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton.
The match starts at 10:30 AM local time (09:30 AM GMT) (3:00 PM IST).
The game will be live on Star Sports. Live streaming available on Hotstar.
It is unlikely to rain in Taunton on Monday. There is only a 6% chance of rain throughout the day and it will be partly cloudy. The temperature will hover around 16-18 degrees Celsius according to AccuWeather.
It was a flat deck in Taunton when Australia and Pakistan faced each other and the trend is likely to continue this time around as well. If the conditions stay dry the surface might also help the spinners later in the day. The team batting first should opt to bat first if there are no clouds.
Average first innings score: 283 (last six One-Day matches at the venue)
Record of the chasing teams: Won – 3; Lost – 3
