The Pandya brothers, Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya are two known faces of Indian cricket. Both the brothers have come a long way since making their debut for the Indian team and they certainly have made a name for themselves in international cricket.

Their journey from being a nobody to two prominent all-rounders is inspiring. Recently, Krunal made a trip down the memory lane as he shared the first-ever interview of Pandya Brothers on his Twitter handle.

Along with the video, Krunal wrote, “Throwback to the #PandyaBrothers’ first-ever interview. Just young kids with big dreams. If we can make it, anyone can. Just work hard to achieve your dreams,”

This is gold to see now: Hardik Pandya

In the shared clip, Krunal Pandya can be seen talking about his journey of playing with Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) and winning the Anand Premier League. The all-rounder also talked about his dream of representing Baroda in Ranji Trophy and then making it to the Indian team. He also thanked his parents for their unconditional support and appreciation. The video then features a young Hardik Pandya sharing his dream of playing for India with his brother.

“It is our dream that just like Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan, who have represented India and Baroda together, we also want to play for Team India and Baroda as well,” Hardik says in the clip.

Feeling nostalgic about his first interview, Hardik also retweeted the video shared by Krunal. Sharing the video, the cricketer said, “This is gold my bro to see now.”

Recently, Hardik interacted with youngsters in Baroda and encouraged them to work harder to reach the Indian cricket team. He added that he is looking forward to playing alongside them for India in the next ten year’s time. Motivating the budding cricketers, Hardik told them that he would be really disappointed if he doesn’t see at least 10 of them playing for the nation.

“At least 10 of you should play for India. Otherwise, I will be disappointed. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to play with me in 10 year’s time. It will be fun,” the 26-year-old concluded.
