Imad Wasim pledges to have a haircut after all the trolling

Style and fashion sense are important pre-requisites which shape our personality. They define our attitude, culture, mood and level of confidence. And that is why we fuss a lot about our appearance. A lot of sportspersons have taken this mantra in their stride and became style icons.

Who can forget Cristiano Ronaldo who grabs headlines in newspapers or cover pages in fashion mags for his hairstyle?! Coming to the desi front, we have Virat Kohli, the numero uno cricket icon who never puts a foot wrong when it comes to his fashion sense and hairstyle. Many have likened his hairstyle to Cristiano Ronaldo, but it can be safely said that he carries that well.

It is true that players shuffle their fashion sense quite often to make their appearances felt on the playing arena. A tweak in the hair style or a vibrant bandana or a face mask can be the talk of the town in today’s social playground. And no matter what the hairstyle gets the first attention and garners maximum coverage.

In the recently concluded Champions Trophy, Pakistan’s left-arm bowler Imad Wasim was severely trolled for his funny hairstyle. Perhaps he forgot to have a look in the mirror before stepping onto the field. His hairstyle resembled Salman Khan from Tere Naam. Unable to bear the epic trolling from some witty Twitterati, Imad took to Twitter and pledged that he will definitely have a hair cut to appease his fans.

He wrote on twitter, “After the first game of the Champions Trophy, a lot was being said about my hair so I thought I had better get it cut.”#CT17
