India A vs England Lions, 2019: 2nd Unofficial Test: Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Tips – Playing XI, Pitch Report & Injury Update
KL Rahul has been named as the captain of the India A team for the 2nd unofficial Test against England Lions.
The India A team’s domination over the visiting England Lions continued as the hosts took a massive lead in the first unofficial Test match before it ended in a draw. Priyank Panchal struck a brilliant double century to help India A to take a 200-run first innings lead. The keeper-batsman KS Bharat scored a quick-fire 142 while KL Rahul returned to form with a 192-ball 89. Navdeep Saini bagged a 5-wicket haul to restrict the Lions to a total of 340 in the first innings.
The England Lions had a good start to the game with Ben Duckett and Sam Hain scoring 80 and 61 respectively at the top. However, their middle-order and the bowlers failed to make an impression and left the team on the back foot. Hain batted out 178 balls for his 57 in the second innings to avoid a defeat. India A will be led by KL Rahul during the second unofficial Test with Karun Nair been added to the squad having missed out from featuring for the Rest of India in the Irani Cup.
The second and final game of the 2-match Unofficial Test series between India A and England Lions will be hosted by the SDNRW Ground in Mysore.
The match starts at 9:30 AM local (IST) time (4:00 AM GMT).
This series won’t be broadcasted or streamed due to conflicting with the ongoing Irani Cup.
The SDNRW Ground in Mysore is generally a result oriented venue for the 4-day matches. Usually, the track here gets dried quickly and spinners come into the scene. Pacers who have a bit of extra pace and habit of zipping through are expected to run through the opponents in the 2nd innings.

Karun Nair added to the India A squad with KL Rahul taking over the captaincy responsibilities from Ankit Bawne. Avesh Khan’s name went missing at the time of the squad announcement but was corrected later.
Varun Aaron had decent returns across all formats in the current 2018/19 season. The Jharkhand pacer claimed 25 wickets in the Ranji Trophy at an average of 23.68 including three 4-wicket hauls. Vice-Captain Options – Siddhesh Lad, Sam Hain, Navdeep Saini
Alternatives – Zak Chappell, Jalaj Saxena, Lewis Gregory
Suggested Playing XI No.1 for Fantasy Cricket:
Keeper – KS Bharat

The changeover of the captaincy from Ankit Bawne to Rahul is an indication of excluding Bawne from the playing XI. After the double century, even Panchal could be kept aside to give opportunities to the other batsmen in the squad. Mayank Markande and Varun Aaron could get a chance after being benched in the previous game.
India A is expected to continue their domination against the England Lions in the unofficial Test series.
