India and New Zealand are set to clash in the final ODI in Kanpur with the series at the grabs after both the teams registered comfortable wins while chasing in the first two ODIs. The venue’s first ever day-night encounter will either witness India recording their 7th consecutive bilateral ODI series or New Zealand’s maiden ODI series win on Indian soil.

Here we look at the key stats and numbers ahead of the series decider.

4.97 – New Zealand’s run-rate in ODI cricket since 2016 is their lowest against any team in this period. In the seven ODIs played between the two teams in the last one year, neither of the teams posted a 300+ total.

49 – Number of wickets Jasprit Bumrah has picked up in the 26 ODIs played so far. Bumrah needs to take one more wicket in the next ODI to become the 2nd fastest Indian after Ajit Agarkar (23) to complete 50 ODI wickets.

97 – Number of sixes Virat Kohli has hit in ODI cricket so far. He needs three more sixes to become the 8th Indian and 33rd player overall to hit 100 ODI sixes.

148 – Number of sixes Rohit Sharma has hit in ODI cricket so far. He needs two more sixes to become the 5th Indian and 12th player with 150 ODI sixes.

150 – The last time when an ODI was played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur between India and South Africa in 2015, Rohit recorded the highest ODI score (150) at this venue. Since then, he has managed to score only one hundred in 16 ODIs at home.

1991 – Kohli needs nine more runs to become the first player to aggregate 2000 International runs in 2017. This will be Kohli’s the 4th year when he scored at least 2000 International runs after 2012, 2014 and 2016.

2007 – The last instance of India winning a 3-match ODI series after being down 0-1 was way back in 2007 against South Africa in Ireland. The last time New Zealand went on to lose a 3-match ODI series after taking a 1-0 lead was against South Africa in 2013 at home.

8917 – Runs Virat Kohli has scored in ODI cricket so far. He needs 83 more runs complete 9000 ODI runs and thus will be the quickest to reach the milestone. AB de Villiers currently holds the record.

9935 – Number of runs Martin Guptill has to his name in International cricket so far. He needs 65 more runs to become the 7th New Zealand player with 10000 International runs.
