Indian skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first in the 1st warm-up match against the WACA XI. Though India had a poor start as opener Rohit Sharma got run-out on the team score of 12 while he was batting on 6. Virat Kohli walked in at number 3 to join Dhawan who was playing his shots and looked in form; Kohli got in his grooves soon and both the batsmen matches each other shot by shot.
After Kohli got out skipper Dhoni walked in and started playing the big shots immediately. At the end of 20 overs the Indian team managed 192 runs for the loss of 4 wickets with a run rate of 9.60.
Can the Indian bowlers restrict the WACA XI in the chase?
