After crushing the South African team in the Test series, Team India will return to the shortest format of the game as they gear up to host their neighbors, Bangladesh. The Men in Blue have dominated the Bangladeshi side in the T20Is as they have never lost a T20 game to them.

Their last T20 match had took place in the final of the Nidahas Trophy where Dinesh Karthik’s heroics denied Bangladesh a historic win. An interesting fact to note is that this is the first time India and Bangladesh will face off in a bilateral T20I series. All of their past encounters had happened as a part of the multi-national tournaments.

Both India and Bangladesh will take part in this series without their regular captain. While Virat Kohli has been rested by the Indian team, Bangladesh’s captain Shakib Al Hasan has received a ban from international cricket. However, both the squads have got a bunch of quality players, making the games a mouth-watering affair.

In the article, let’s take a look at five players to watch out for in the India vs Bangladesh T20Is

Deepak Chahar had made a name for himself while playing for the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings side in IPL.  He made his T20I debut against England last year. Even though he could not do much in his debut match, he had troubled the South African batsmen with his right-arm medium pace in the previous T20I series.

He bowled 7 overs in that series where he scalped 2 wickets and conceded only 37 runs. With the T20 World Cup 2020 approaching, Deepak will try to cement his place in the Indian team with a splendid performance against Bangladesh.  The Uttar Pradesh-based bowler has bowled with an impressive economy rate of 6.00 in the 4 T20I matches he has played.

Since the conditions in Australia will favour the fast bowlers, Deepak can prove to be an asset for the team. Hence, the selectors and fans will have their eyes on him during the 3-match series.
