The 25-year-old wicket-keeper batsman, Liton Das has emerged as one of the best Bangladeshi batsmen in recent times. He has participated in 22 T20Is for Bangladesh where he has scored 452 runs at a fantastic strike rate of 138.23. He has slammed 2 fifties for the Tigers besides hitting 37 fours and 22 sixes.
Das always tries to keep the scoreboard ticking by striking boundaries at periodic intervals. Also, the right-handed batsman has good memories of playing against India since he had hit an 87-ball century versus the Men in Blue in Asia Cup 2018.
The Dinanjpur-born had been deemed by many to develop into the next big thing in Bangladesh cricket when he represented his nation at the 2012 and 2014 U-19 World Cups. He stands at the 44th rank in the ICC T20I rankings for batsmen and he will look to rise above by performing well against Rohit Sharma’s men.
