The first two matches between India and Windies turned out to be high-scoring affairs. While the home team came out trumps in the first encounter in Guwahati, Jason Holder’s men managed to hold on to a tie in Visakhapatnam. Both teams’ bowlers have come under the pump as the batsmen have made full use of the batting-friendly conditions.

The third encounter is now scheduled to be played tomorrow at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The Men in Blue are in with a golden chance of taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match series. On the contrary, the Caribbean team somehow needs to win their first match of the tour in order to stay alive in the series.

The dew settling it during the second half of the match won’t make it easy for the bowlers. Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah are likely to get their maiden chance in place of Umesh and Shami. They will shoulder the bowling department along with Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Ravindra Jadeja. Rohit, Dhawan and captain Kohli remain to be the fulcrum of the batting. Pant and Dhoni would also be hoping to get a decent hit in the middle.
