India ‘A’ women to play two practice games against England women
The Indian Women seem geared up for the upcoming T20 Tri-nation series.

India women’s cricket has seen several uplifting changes since June this year – when the national team was crowned the runners-up of the World Cup in England. Women cricket is being recognized better since, and tournaments that didn’t make their way to the print or digital media are now being written are read about.
India, England and Australia are playing a tri-series in India, which includes seven T20Is and three ODIs. All the T20Is, as well as ODI games, will be held in Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. Ahead of India’s fixture against England on March 25, the India ‘A’ team will play two practice games against England on March 18 and 19, as per a BCCI media release. S. Meghana will lead the side.

Star Sports will broadcast the live coverage of the Tri-Series in India and its subcontinent (Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, and Bhutan). Besides, Hotstar will also stream all the matches live in the aforementioned countries.

Also, complaints were raised after the BCCI didn’t organize any tournament for the women until seven months after their world cup campaign. Taking note, the board has now come up with a schedule for the team.
“We are arranging bilateral series with different countries so our women will get more exposure. We will be playing England and then travel to Sri Lanka. Then we will be going to New Zealand for another bilateral series in February-March 2019”, a BCCI official told ESPNCricinfo.
