South Africa Women’s tour of India didn’t kick-off as it was anticipated. The first of the two warm-up T20Is to be hosted in Surat got washed out due to wet outfield. This will be followed by a 5-match T20I series and a 3-match ODI series between India and South Africa Women.

She has been named in the squad for the first three T20Is. Dane van Niekerk’s absence due to an injury meant Sune Luus will lead the South African Women once again. Sushma Verma will be leading the India Women BP’s XI on her pursuit of a return to the Indian team.

Weather Condition/Report:

Clear weather is forecasted in Surat for Sunday. We could have a full match without any interruption if the weather remains as expected.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The tracks here could be low-scoring ones if considering the Men’s T20 matches played at this venue in 2019. However, those placed towards the end of the season. Since this is the start of the season, we find tracks which are better for batting.
