Indian Cricketers send their wishes for Women's Team ahead of World Cup finals

The Indian Women’s Team has played out of their skin to reach the finals of the ICC Women’s World Cup. They defeated both England And Australia once in the tournament, who were the two strongest teams in the competition. The entire cricketing fraternity from India wished the women with their luck and hoped the ladies would bring the cup home.

The most elaborate wish was that of MS Dhoni who repeatedly stressed on enjoying the moment. MS wanted the girls to focus on the present rather than thinking about the result as it is not every day that one cherishes being a part of a World Cup finals. The master of Winning World Cups and finals also applauded the effort of the ladies to reach this far in the tournament, by defeating a majority of teams in the round robin leagues and also the knockout stages.

India’s journey until now has been powered due to the teamwork. Each and every individual has contributed to the India is in a position where they are at present. Runs have come from their skipper Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana, Poonam Raut, Deepti Sharma, Veda Krishnamurthy and Harmanpreet Kaur. Jhulan Goswami has terrorised with her pace in the series along with Shikha Pandey while opponents were entangled with the spin web of Gaekwad, Deeptik Sharma and Bisht.
