The former Indian cricketer and the legend Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 45th birthday as the whole cricketing fraternity is busy wishing him. The fans are still in awe of his technical masterclass batting and are recalling those moments when he literally used to stop the world with his breathtaking strokes. Meanwhile, Damien Fleming, the former Australian fast bowler, is also enjoying his birthday being in India to cover the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). But Cricket Australia’s wish to him has irked Indian fans a lot as they posted a cheeky video.

There used to be a battle between Sachin and the Australian bowlers in the late 90s and the early 2000s as Team India was heavily dependent on the master to perform every time. It was in Sharjah when he had launched an assault on the Aussies in 1998 which had helped India in clinching the trophy as well. The innings is still rated as one of his best and the Australians haven’t forgotten the same. But the likes of Fleming, Glenn McGrath also had a lid on him as they dismissed him a lot of times during his illustrious career.

CA’s wish

While the whole world is busy wishing the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, the official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia (CA) wished Damien Fleming by posting a video of him castling the stumps of the master in one of the matches. It completely makes sense of them, wishing one of their best bowlers by recalling one of his best deliveries to the best batsman in the world. But they didn’t even wish another birthday boy in India which left the Indian fans fuming.

They were quick to express their anger on social media in replies to that tweet and felt that Australians will never change. Also, one of the Twitter users hilariously questioned them if they will post the video of ball tampering on Steve Smith’s birthday.

Here’s what CA tweeted:
