Indian players spend some quality time with their family before Pakistan clash

With two wins in two warm-up games, Indian team is looking all set to make a mark in this year’s Champions Trophy as they take on the arch-rivals Pakistan in their first league match on Sunday (4th June). We can expect it to be crackerjack of a game. However, before the much-anticipated match, Indian players choose to spend some quality time with their family before kicking off in the ‘Mini-World Cup’.
Indian batting star, Shikhar Dhawan and right-arm fast bowler, Umesh Yadav went out for a dinner with their wives. Both of them have had a decent outing with bat and ball respectively and will look to continue their form in short tournament that CT is.
After spending a quality time with his wife and son along with Umesh and his better half, Dhawan uploaded a picture on his Instagram account that said, “Enjoying dinner with @umeshyaadav and his wife #Family bonding.
Shikhar Dhawan
The left-handed batsman again has the responsibility on his shoulders to lead his team from the front as he has always been a crucial player for Indian team at this slot and sets the tone for the coming batsmen by building the foundation at the top. After being dropped against England for the ODI series, he was recalled for the ICC tournament. In two practice matches, he has played so far, Dhawan has looked in sublime form and will be looking to repeat history.
Umesh Yadav:
On the other hand, Umesh has been the pick of the bowlers for Team India from last year and haS and lot of expectations and hopes on him. The wide shouldered fast bowler has been able to impress everyone with his skiddy pace and rhythm. In two warm-up matches so far, he has picked 4 wickets at an impressive economy rate.
