Matches – 4, Runs –40, Highest Score – 17, Strike Rate – 47.05

Another veteran from the first-class circuit to feature in this team is the talented Tamil Nadu player, Subramaniam Badrinath. The right-handed batsman had made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2008 and in this decade, he played only 4 ODI games.

The 39-year-old batted in the middle order for India but his strike rate of 47.05 often deterred India’s momentum. His highest score of 17 indicates that he did not play a single match-winning knock for the country in the 50 overs format during the last 10 years.

Badrinath had a phenomenal batting average and a better strike rate in List A cricket. However, he could not replicate that performance at the international level. The former India player was once an integral part of the IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings.
