India’s tour of Zimbabwe report card- Indian team’s performance ratings: The Indian board sent a team to Zimbabwe which had the names who had a lot to do for themselves at the team, and they were successful to an extent. A 3-0 win over Zimbabwe in the ODI series by this less reputed squad after Bangladesh beat a full strength Indian team in the ODI series last month makes it even more luscious. Though they would have loved to end it better than a 1-1 in the T20Is; the team can fly back as a proud unit.
But how do fans learn how the players fared on the tour? Here is the India’s tour of Zimbabwe report card- Indian team’s performance ratings:
Ajinkya Rahane- 6.5/10:
Ajinkya Rahane had a middling and a mediocre Zimbabwe tour in the limited overs format. Rahane couldn’t convert his starts into big ones as much as he would have liked. Rahane racked up one half century in the campaign and his other innings were pretty much flashes of brilliance but not good enough so as to sustain it to momentousness. Overall CricTracker gives a rating of 6.5 for Rahane in this tour.
