International cricket was filled with action packed matches blended with magical moments in the year 2015. AB de Villiers smashed a record-breaking century while Chris Gayle flexed his muscles to good use to strike the fastest double hundred in ODI cricket. Wahab Riaz bowled the spell of his life, and New Zealand clinched a thriller against Australia. The Aussies won another World Cup and with it skipper Michael Clarke retired from ODI cricket.

Bangladesh witnessed a dream year, breaking records one after another and creating history. Stuart Broad will take heart from an impressive outing against Australia while skipper Alastair Cook’s solidity spelled another high.

2015 also witnessed the first ever historic pink ball Test played between Australia and New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval. For India, the year ended on a high, they beat the number one Test side South Africa, comprehensively, and it was Ravichandran Ashwin who turned out to be the chief architect. Pune and Rajkot replaced Chennai and Rajasthan for the next two IPL season, and the year marked a carnival, as cricketing legends met for the much talked about cricket All-Stars series.
