It’s not that I need to run the family, and I am not even married, so what do I do with so much money? It’s better I spend it on myself,” explained the 27-year-old.

But Choudhury has some other plans too, except shopping. He has two houses, one in Jaipur and the other in Bikaner. But now he is looking forward to cementing his future. He said &#8220;I want to invest it on real estate or something like that. I don’t know what would happen tomorrow, so it is better that I invest in buying a house or a shop. At least that way, I can rent them out when required. I am in talks with a few people about that.&#8221;

Unlike Aniket, the Karnataka-based off-spinner never got a chance to showcase his talent on such a big stage. He received INR 2 crores from the winners Mumbai Indians. Though he spent his time by sitting on the bench, he feels that the tips received from veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh will help him for his future endeavors.&#8221;His (Singh) tips will definitely help me a lot,” said Gowtham.

Speaking to Sportstarlive, he cleared his intentions of buying a house for his parents. &#8220;That’s (buying a house) the main target. I have a few other commitments that need to be addressed. I have to use the money on family-related matters,&#8221; explained Gowtham.
