Delhi Daredevils gave a tough competition in collective batting collapses to the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL season as they were bundled out for just 67 runs at the PCA Stadium, Mohali against the home side Kings XI Punjab. Karun Nair, who took over the captaincy duties from the Zaheer Khan in this game, didn’t have a great start as his side displayed one of their poorest performances with the bat.
The Kings XI Punjab ensured they used the game to improve their net run rate to the maximum extent as they finished the chase by 8th over. Here are all the statistical highlights of the one-sided affair.

10 – Kings XI Punjab’s 10-wicket win is their first in the IPL and the 10th 10-wicket victory for by any team in the IPL and the 2nd in this season. This is the 2nd 10-wicket win for a team over Delhi Daredevils as RCB defeated them by the same margin in 2015.
67 – Delhi Daredevils’ total of 67 is the joint 3rd lowest for any team in the IPL and the joint lowest by any team while batting first. This is also the lowest score by DD and the lowest by any team against KXIP in the IPL.
68 – Kings XI Punjab’s total of 68 is the lowest score to include a fifty in the IPL. Martin Guptill scored 50* out of KXIP’s 68/0. Previous lowest total with a fifty in IPL is 96/9 by RCB vs RPS yesterday.
73 – Balls remaining in the Kings XI Punjab’s innings when they reached the target, the 3rd biggest winning margin in the IPL with balls to spare. MI defeated KKR with 87 balls to spare in 2008 while KTK defeated RR in 2011 by 76 balls to spare.
