With all the standings in the points table decided including the ones in the bottom four, the final league game of 2017 IPL season between the Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore almost seemed to be the most meaningless game in the IPL history but the both sides fought hard to finish on a high. In the end, the RCB finally ended their losing streak and bagged only their 3rd win of the season with two of those coming over DD.

RCB posted 161/6 in their 20 overs with some good knocks from Kohli and Gayle. The home side relied on their tail-enders towards the last few overs, who couldn’t chase down the target as none of their top-order batters stayed at the crease till the last moment despite getting starts.
