It can be agreed by most that the Delhi Daredevils have had a fairly successful auction. Having retained the important players from the previous IPL campaign, the new additions will certainly add value as the Daredevils look to strike the perfect balance in their squad.

In spite of not picking up anyone on the marquee player list, the Daredevils have signed a perfect blend of youth and experience in their squad. Left-arm spinner Pawan Negi was the surprise addition as they shelled out a whopping Rs. 8.5 crores for the new Indian recruit. The addition of Rishabh Pant, Mahipal Lormor, and Khaleel Ahmed signaled their intention of keeping one eye on the future.

Though they have a decent bowling attack, Australian seamer Joel Paris and Carlos Brathwaite have been added to the roster. Former Rajasthan Royals batsman Karu Nair too was snapped up for 4 crores.

The Delhi Daredevils will be hoping for a better showing this time around following their horrific 2015IPL campaign.
