Mumbai Indians are the 2nd most successful team in the Indian Premier League only behind CSK. The likes of Harbhajan, Malinga, Pollard and Rayudu have played for Mumbai franchise throughout their IPL careers and are led by Rohit Sharma who has been part of the side since 2011 and has led them to two IPL titles.

Here we look at all the record and stats related to Mumbai Indians in IPL:

3 – Number of players in IPL have scored 2000+ runs for Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (2704), Sachin Tendulkar (2334) and Ambati Rayudu (2325). Kieron Pollard needs 42 more runs to complete 2000 runs in IPL (all runs came for MI). In the case of Pollard joining this elite list, Mumbai Indians will be the first team to have 4 players with 2000+ runs scored for them in IPL. RCB has 3 players who have scored 2000+ runs in IPL.

4– Number of winning streaks in IPL for Mumbai Indians which lasted for 5 or more games. No other team has more than 3 streaks of 5 or more consecutive wins in Indian Premier League.
