2. Carlos Brathwaite

Carlos-Brathwaite

Remember that sensational over in the 2016 World Twenty20 finals where Carlos Brathwaite hit four consecutive 6’s to win Windies the title against England? The 29-year-old had been expected to be the source of some serious fireworks in the IPL when he’d been bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2018 auctions. However, the mighty all-rounder is yet to play a match in the ongoing season of the IPL and this might make quite a few teams keep a hawk-eye view on the talented cricketer for the approaching transfer window.

Brathwaite has ample experience in the T20 format and has previously played in major T20 leagues such as the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for several franchises. In 2016-2017, he played for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, where he scored 95 runs in 10 matches and scalped 7 wickets. His international figures in the format speaks volumes of his abilities. Armed with 231 runs and 22 dismissals in 25 T20Is, Brathwaite will be a massive force to be reckoned with if he’s given an opportunity to take the field via the transfer window.
