Virat Kohli is arguably the best batsman in the white ball cricket right now. The right-handed batsman was at top of the ICC T20I rankings for 358 days in 2017. Kohli has an average of more than 50 in T20 Internationals which is incredible. The Indian captain has an enviable record in the IPL, as he has scored over 4000 runs in 10 seasons of the league.

The right-handed batsmen could only manage to score 308 runs which are very low for a player of his class. But no one can doubt his class and he had a terrific year in all formats after the IPL. RCB paid him Rs. 17 crore which is 2 crore more than the slotted price. His leadership qualities are a great asset to any team and he could easily have earned 25 crores in the auction.
