The Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is an absolute superstar. He is arguably the most celebrated cricketer in the country. Dhoni receives the love of the fans every time he takes the field for his franchise or for the national side. Currently, he is batting in a sublime form for the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 edition of the IPL. He has the highest average in the season among all batters.

Wherever he goes, he has fans touching his feet with respect and very excited to see him. Recently, when the Super Kings played at Pune, MS Dhoni found another such revering action coming his way. A dog at the MCA Stadium gave a royal salute to the CSK skipper. The official social media handle of the Chennai Super Kings took very little time to share the cute video on the social media.

In the video, Dhoni is clearly heard asking the guards at the venue about the dog. He asks them if the dog is a labrador or a labrador retriever. The nervous guards respond by saying, “lab”. The CSK skipper is then seen ruffling the dog’s head and playing with it. The guards then instruct the dog to give the royal salute. The dog obliges and stretches on the ground to salute MS Dhoni.

Here is the video that the social media handle of CSK posted:

“Say bye to your Monday blues with loads of cuteness and a royal salute! #whistlepodu #Thala @msdhoni #yellove,” they captioned the video.

It is worth noting that the former Indian captain is an absolute dog lover. He has his pet dogs at his residence in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Back in time, Dhoni had once conceded that he loves going back to his dogs after any hectic tour. He likes doing so because his dogs never judge him or change their behavior even if he has lost the series or performed poorly in it.
