The Royal Challengers Bangalore had a very lucky escape in their last home game of the 2018 season. They were defending 218 in the game and were in a for a threat from the Sunrisers Hyderabad. They, however, managed to keep things tight in the last over and were over the line with 14 runs in their account. The win came as a much needed relief for Virat Kohli and his teammates.
Coming in to the game, there was tremendous pressure on Virat Kohli and co. to win. They knew that a defeat in the match would have ended their claims in the race to the playoffs of the 2018 edition of the IPL. Now, after the win against SRH, they are still in the hunt and have escalated to the number 5 spot in the points table.
Their next game against the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday becomes a must win game for them now and a virtual knockout for both the sides. Expect the Bengaluru franchise to come out with an entertaining show as they did in their last home game against Sunrisers. In the recent game against the Sunrisers, the on-field action was high on entertainment.
In fact, even the off-field drama was quite entertaining. In a rather unusual turn of events, the commentator Danny Morrison found himself getting an awkward stare from the RCB skipper Virat Kohli. The action perspired at the toss prior to the game. Before talking to Kohli, Morrison decided to check the nerves of the RCB skipper by touching his neck.
Virat was taken aback by the sudden gesture made by the former cricketer and got into an awkward position. The moment Morrison touched his neck, Kohli gave him an awkward stare right back. The RCB skipper soon regained his composure after hearing why Morrison did so and talked calmly in the interview. The video of the same is going viral on the social media now.
