IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils – Approaching Milestones

Delhi Daredevils is one of the three teams to be part of all the ten seasons but yet to win a title in the Indian Premier League. In fact, DD is the only side that played more than three seasons not making it to the final even once. However, the franchise will be hoping to have their fortunes changed with the return of Gautam Gambhir who handed KKR two titles under his captaincy. The Delhi squad is filled up with some young Indian talents and exciting overseas players.

Approaching milestones of the Delhi Daredevils’ players to be looked out ahead of the IPL 2018:

IPL and Twenty20 career milestones:

50 – Jayant Yadav (40 T20s), Rishabh Pant (41 T20s), Kagiso Rabada (44 T20s) and Vijay Shankar (46 T20s) are close to completing 50 appearances in the Twenty20 format.

143 – Number of matches Chris Morris played in his Twenty20 career so far. He needs seven more appearances in this format to complete 150 T20 games as a player.

148 – Gautam Gambhir featured in 148 matches in the first decade of the IPL. He needs to feature in two more games to complete 150 appearances in the league.

197 – Glenn Maxwell needs three more appearances in the Twenty20 format to complete 200 matches as a player. Amit Mishra (189 T20s) is also nearing 200 T20 appearances.

245 – Number of matches Gautam Gambhir featured in his Twenty20 career so far. He needs to feature in five more games for completing 250 T20s as a player.

3712 – Runs Colin Munro aggregated in the Twenty20 format. He needs 288 more runs for completing the 4000-run milestone in the T20 format. He is also five wickets away from completing 100 wickets in professional cricket.

Professional career milestones:

294 – Jason Roy needs to hit six more sixes in any format to complete 300 sixes in his professional career.

399 – Number of sixes Glenn Maxwell hit in his professional career so far. He is one more maximum away from completing 400 sixes across all formats.

9935 – Daniel Christian needs 65 more runs for completing 10000 runs in his professional career.

15712 – Runs Naman Ojha aggregated in his professional career so far. He needs 288 more runs for completing 16000 runs across all formats. Ojha (2705 T20 runs) also need 295 more runs for reaching the 3000-run milestone.

30763 – Gautam Gambhir aggregated 30763 runs in his professional career till date. He needs 237 more runs to complete 31000 runs in professional cricket.
