Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is the only unbeaten team n the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) having won three games on the trot against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The batters have been stupendous which have been backed by some brilliant spells of bowling.

The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shakib Al Hasan, Sidharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan have been stupendous for them and have been able to restrict the opposition batsmen. The economy rates of the bowlers have also been tremendous with Billy Stanlake (7.66) having the highest economy rate. Rashid has only bagged but a couple of wickets but has given away runs at the rate of peanuts.

“Will be my number one”- James Faulkner

Meanwhile, James Faulkner has praised the SRH bowlers for their consistent show. “I think the strongest one (in term of bowling attack) has to be Sunrisers (Hyderabad). Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been in great form for a couple of IPLs, (so) that will be my number one. And the wrist spinner, who is the best in the World in T20s?” Faulkner was quoted as saying by PTI.

The 27-year fast bowler, who is also an expert with ESPNCricinfo, rated the Mumbai Indians’ attack the next best after the Sunrisers. Moreover, he dismissed the rumours surrounding the notion that Jasprit Bumrah has been out of form. Bumrah has recently been taken for a plenty of runs, which hasn’t helped Mumbai’s cause of dictating terms to the batsmen.

“Mumbai has got two good death bowlers (Jasprit Bumrah and Mustifizur Rahman), they are probably the (number) two (second best). It is very unfair to say he (Bumrah) is out of form. When you start your career, people tend to look at you a bit more. He bowls the hardest overs, he bowls the death overs, in the Indian team as well. Any day where he goes under 40 runs, he has a good day” he added.
