Chennai Super Kings clinched a last over thriller against the home team by a narrow 4-run margin to move on to top of the table. Ambati Rayudu’s 37-ball 79 along with Suresh Raina’s unbeaten 54-run knock helped CSK to finish with 182/3. Deepak Chahar bagged three wickets in his first three overs of the chase as SRH were three down for 22 runs. Kane Williamson guided his side with a 51-ball 84 with some support coming from Yusuf Pathan who hit four sixes in his 45. Rashid Khan tried to take SRH over the line with a 4-ball 17 but fell five runs short of the target.

1 – For the first time in his IPL career, Bhuvneshwar Kumar didn’t get to bowl his four overs in a game where SRH bowled out 20 overs. Bhuvi bowled three overs in the first ten overs of the CSK innings.
