The Indian Premier League (IPL) is 22 matches old now as Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 23rd match of the season. The iconic Wankhede Stadium will host the game as the second leg between the two sides will take place. The earlier clash was won by the Orange Army when Billy Stanlake tantalisingly hit the last ball of the innings in the air. However, things have changed drastically since then for both the sides and they need to win this game weather permitting.
The hosts are looking a formidable outfit and they are very tough to beat at home ground. But somehow they are not able to close the matches and have lost 4 games now all of which went to the last over. Sunrisers are suddenly dealing with some issues going into this game. Their ace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has got injured and is unfit to play this game even as there are question marks on the fitness of Shikhar Dhawan and Yusuf Pathan.
How’s the climate in Mumbai?
According to Accu Weather, it is currently sunny to partly cloudy in Mumbai but there are no chances of rain all day. The temperatures are hovering around 35 Degree Celsius in the city and it is needless to say that the humidity will increase as the day progresses. There will also be a lot of dew and the team batting second will benefit a lot out of that which has been the case so far at the venue. During the course of the game, the temperatures will go down slightly around 30 Degree Celsius as it will help the players a little bit.
Overall Verdict: Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will be buzzing today and the crowd will be lucky to enjoy the full action of 40 overs as their team is badly in need of a victory.
