It was a rare day at the office for the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowlers who set up a win for their team bundling out Kings XI Punjab for just 88 runs. The home team’s top order was outplayed by RCB’s planning and the middle-order failed to take up the responsibility as they lasted only 15.1 overs. RCB ensured they made the most of it by bowling out the opposition for a low total and chased it down in just 8.1 overs. Their opening pair Virat Kohli and Parthiv Patel took RCB over the line without losing a wicket.

All the stats and numbers that were recorded during Kings XI’s demolition by RCB:

3 – Royal Challengers Bangalore now have won an IPL game by 10 wickets on three occasions while no other team has won more than once. They are also the 5th team in the Twenty20 format with three 10-wicket wins after Gloucestershire, Lancashire, New Zealand, and Free State.
