The Royal Challengers Bangalore have managed to stay afloat in the race for the playoffs in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. They beat the Kings XI Punjab in a crushing manner in Indore recently. They were firmly led by their captain Virat Kohli in the modest run chase. Kohli remained unbeaten on 48 to see his side through. His wife, Anushka Sharma, certainly loved the victory.

Anushka Sharma has been very vocal about her support for her husband and the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp. This season, she has often been spotted in the stands supporting the RCB team and Virat Kohli. Also, in the recent times, when she has failed to make it to the venues to watch her husband in action, she has ensured that she expressed her delight on the social media.

After RCB’s thumping over the Kings XI Punjab, Anushka Sharma took to her social media account to express her joy. She posted an Instagram story with a still from the game that had Virat Kohli in it. She even wrote, “yeaaahhh boiii!” to express her delight.

Commenting on the game, the match was a must win match for the visiting Royal Challengers Bangalore. Their bowlers have been the weak link for them this season. However, in this particular game, their bowlers ensured that they were over the line with ease. RCB bowlers bundled out the Kings for a paltry 88 in 15.1 overs.

In the run chase, Virat Kohli promoted himself to open the innings. Batting alongside Parthiv Patel, Kohli oozed sheer class in the run chase. The two openers added an unbeaten stand to steer the visitors to a crushing 10 wicket win. While Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 48, Parthiv Patel also chipped in with a very crucial 40 to his name. The win will give a big boost to the RCB camp that has started to revive just at the right time.
