The 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to see it’s first inconsequential game of the season after following of 51 matches which could be last of its kind. The Chennai Super Kings, who are placed at No.2  on the table, with eight wins in 12 matches can confirm their top two finish with a win in Delhi. CSK’s good NRR might ensure their finish in the top two even on losing their remaining two matches. The Delhi Daredevils, on the other hand, are designated to finish at the bottom with only three wins to their name so far.

Key stats and numbers ahead of the dead rubber game between Delhi and Chennai:

21 – Harbhajan Singh’s 21 wickets in the IPL against Delhi Daredevils are the joint most for any player. Lasith Malinga has also taken 21 against DD in the league. Harbhajan’s 21 wickets came in 19 matches at an average of 21.42. Shane Watson also took 13 wickets at an average of 20.3 in 12 IPL matches against DD.


32.37 – Amit Mishra has a bowling average of 32.37 against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He bagged only eight wickets in 10 IPL matches against CSK thus far.


41.44 – Shane Watson has a batting average of 41.44 against Delhi Daredevils in the IPL. He scored 373 runs in 12 innings against them with three fifties. His opening partner Ambati Rayudu scored 397 runs in 15 IPL innings against DD at an average of 33.08 with help of two fifties.


148 – Shane Watson needs two more sixes to complete 150 sixes in the IPL. He will be the 10th player to hit 150 sixes in the IPL.


450Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni scored over 450 runs in the IPL against Delhi Daredevils. Raina’s 492 runs against DD came in 21 innings at an average of 27.33 while Dhoni scored 470 runs in 18 innings at an average of 33.57 with three fifties.
