The revamped Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils squads didn’t have greatest of starts to their campaigns as both failed to put a good fight in their opening games. Delhi was thumped down by KL Rahul’s fastest IPL fifty while RR had their batting decimated by the SRH bowlers in their first match. Now the focus shifts to Jaipur which will be hosting an IPL game for the first time since 2014. RR’s last appearance at their fortress came during the 2013 edition of the CLT20.
Key stats and numbers to be looked out ahead of RR’s first home game in more than four years:
10-6 – Rajasthan Royals have a clear dominance over Delhi Daredevils as they won 10 out of the 16 meetings in the IPL. RR defeated DD on three out of four IPL meetings at their home venue in Jaipur.
12 – Rajasthan Royals won each of their last 12 Twenty20 games they played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. They played eight IPL games in the 2013 season and four games in the 2013 CLT20 and won all of them. They didn’t feature in any matches at this venue in 2014 and 2015.
RR has a win percentage of 76.31 at this venue as they won 29 out of the 38 Twenty20 games they played. This is the best win % in the Twenty20 format for any team at a home venue.

423 – Gautam Gambhir’s 423 runs against RR in the IPL are the 3rd most runs for any player. Only AB de Villiers (485) and Suresh Raina (471) scored more than Gambhir against RR in the league.
