Will rain spare Virat Kohli and his men?
Updated - Apr 13, 2018 1:22 pm
Virat Kohli and his men will return to Chinnaswamy this year with a renewed of regaining the lost glory. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will have to face Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) who are looking upbeat after their win in the first game. It won’t be easy for the home side by any stretch of imagination to trump their opposition and will have to play their best cricket. However, for that to happen the heavens would also have to spare the cricket fans and the teams in order to get the action of full of 40 overs.
RCB, this time around, are in desperate need of winning the coveted title but their hopes of doing so were dashed after losing the first game to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Though playing in front of the home crowd should help their morale which might bring the best out of them. Punjab have a lot of Karnataka players up their sleeves and they would love to make the most of that advantage.
Will it rain in Bengaluru?
According to Accu Weather, currently, it is partly sunny in Bengaluru with the temperatures hovering around 29 Degree Celsius. However, soon it is expected to be cloudy in the lead up to the game. But it will only decrease the humidity even as the atmosphere will cool down considerably during the course of the game which should be good for the players. There are no chances of rain whatsoever in the city and the spectators should be able to enjoy the run-fest.
Dew might play its part during the second innings but that should not be a huge problem for the team bowling second. The temperatures will hover in the late 20s in the evening as it will be buzzing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Overall Verdict: Sit back and enjoy the action. Nothing will interfere today’s game between RCB and KXIP as the home side would be eager to get off the mark in the tournament.
