Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking to open their account at their home ground after they lost the opening game to Kolkata Knight Riders. They will now face Kings XI Punjab in their first home match who made a super start to their campaign with a big win over Delhi Daredevils. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium relayed batting tracks ahead of the season after the previous edition that witnessed low scoring matches and the home team’s struggles.

4 – Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab won four IPL games each they played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. KXIP leads the overall head to head in the IPL as they won 12 out of the 20 matches against RCB.
5 – RCB lost each of their last five IPL games at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB won their first game of the 2017 season against DD but lost all the five matches they played after that. Their game against SRH in the previous season got washed out without a toss.
