IPL 2018: Mayanti Langer 'honoured' to have an opportunity to work with 'greats' of the game

The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has undoubtedly been one of the blistering affairs in the eleven years history of the tournament. Most of the matches have gone down the wire, which created a lot of jitters in the hearts of millions of cricket fans located in all parts of the world.

After all the excitement and anticipations, in one last and big encounter, the Chennai Super Kings ( CSK) will be taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final battle to lift the coveted trophy at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The official broadcaster of IPL 2018, Star adjoined hands to make the T20 carnival in India a celebratory affair.

Dean Jones tags Mayanti Langer as the ‘Biggest Star’

Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones is a part of the English commentary panel for IPL 2018 along with many other former cricketers including the likes of Brett Lee, Kumar Sangakkara, Kevin Pietersen, Darren Sammy, Michael Clarke and many more have been a part of the list.

Popular TV presenter Mayanti Langer has been sensational while hosting the pre-match and post-match shows this season for Star Sports with the expert panellists. Dean Jones recently posted a message on his Twitter handle mentioning about his experience of working with some of the cricketing greats during the telecast of IPL 2018 and he also tagged anchor as the biggest star.

“As much as I have loved working with many of the greats on this @IPL. Our BEST and BIGGEST STAR is @MayantiLanger_B!!! She is soooo good at her job. And all of us at @StarSportsIndia #kentcricketlive & #SelectDugout are in awe of how good she is! Great job Mayanti” wrote the former Aussie cricketer on Twitter.
